U.S. Air Force Receives its New Pilot's Display from Marconi Avionics

The first of a new kind of head up display (HUD), which successfully incorporates holograms, was recently handed over in London, to the United States Air Force. Developed by Marconi Avionics Limited (a GEC‐Marconi Electronics company), the holographic HUD will help USAF pilots to see to fly, with equal effectiveness, by day and by night.
