AN experimental fibre optic gyro designed and funded by British Aerospace Dynamics Group has been completed and is now operating at Stevenage. It is the latest unit of its type to be constructed by the Stevenage Division since work began in 1976 on a privately funded project to develop fibre optic gyros for missile and avionic applications.
