IN June Allied Bendix Aerospace will deliver a digital flight control computer (DFLCC) prototype for the F‐16 C/D single‐engine, high performance air‐to‐air combat fighter. The DFLCC will, it is claimed, be the first computer in production to digitally control by wire all the flight surfaces (the actuators and stabilisers) in a military aircraft.
