BATTERIES to provide a vital source of standby power, in the event of engine failure, are carried by virtually all aircraft, and one of the major suppliers of these batteries for many years has been Chloride, using also the brand names Exide and Dagenite. Some of the company's latest developments in aircraft batteries are described.
