The Airship Industries Skyship 600 completed its maiden Fly‐by‐Light flight on Sunday October 23rd in Weeksville, Carolina. This is not only a significant event for Airship Industries but also establishes another first for GEC Avionics, since the Skyship 600 is controlled entirely by an optically signalled Fly‐by‐Light system, developed by their Flight Automation Research Laboratory.
