CAE/CAD/CAM systems manufacturer Intergraph is expanding its engineering workstation products line to nineteen models by adding ten more 32‐bit Fairchild Clipper‐based UNIX workstations, and two powerful data‐servers and has announced the launch of a major new marketing strategy — the first of its kind for the company — by making them available to the VAR (value added reseller) market. Intergraph will also seek third‐party software agreements through a new ‘Partnership Software Programme’ to complement its own existing 400 packages‐strong applications software library.
