INSTALLATION of a Bridgeport BPC 380H, eight‐pallet horizontal machining centre at Fairey Hydraulics Ltd, Heston, Middlesex, has reduced by 83 percent, from six months down to one month, the lead time to produce a valve body used in the BAe 146 flight control system.
