APPLYING the latest technology, EMI‐MEC Ltd. of Eastleigh, England, has developed a process for resurfacing aircraft windows. This is a machining process in which the surface of the window is cut with diamond‐tipped tools under the control of a microprocessor. After processing, the window is better than new as regards its flatness and clarity.
