Sixty‐year‐old engineer and businessman, former minister of state and air force officer Ozires Silva has been inaugurated as Embraer's new chief executive officer in a ceremony presided over by the Minister for Air, brigadier Sócrates da Costa Monteiro, and attended by approximately 500 authorities and invited guests. Ozires replaces former CEO João Rodrigues da Cunha Neto, who resigned last June 26th.
