PLC‐based motor control systems for ‘747’ aircraft maintenance jacking platforms have been designed by Saftronics Ltd of Leeds for GEC ALSTHOM Engineering Systems Limited. They form part of a project (Dragonfly) for British Airways and are installed at Cardiff.
