A large factory and hot isostatic processing plant based in Hereford has been acquired by HIP Ltd of Chesterfield. The plant, previously owned by INCO Alloys International, is equipped for the consolidation of metal powders; however, HIP will be extending the application of the facility to process cast parts in aluminium, steel, nickel and cobalt alloys.
