A new hand‐held and portable GPS receiver with moving map display designed specifically for pilots has been launched by Magellan. The GPS MAP 7000 (TM) combines the accuracy of Magellan's GPS technology with the detailed flight information provided by the built‐in Jeppesen database to provide an instant view of where you are against a moving map display showing airports, VORs, airspace and other vital navigation information.
