The Slough-based Vacu-Blast Group, has appointed Christian Tyroll as Business Development Manager of its Impact Finishers/ Impact Peening subcontract division.
Christian Tyroll rejoins the Vacu-Blast Group after leaving the organisation in 1995, when he was Vacu-Blast Production Manager. Prior to that he held a number of positions,including that of Quality Manager, in the Impact Finishers/Impact Peening division which he joined originally in 1981.
In his new rôle,Christian has responsibility for maintaining and developing the customer base of both the general industrial finishing and specialist shot peening sides of the impact operation. This includes the promotion of the latest stress analysis and ultrasonic peening techniques resulting from the partnership between Vacu-Blast and the French company, Sonats.
