Tod Aerospace in the frame for window components

The Aerospace Division of composite specialists W & J Tod Limited will use the latest advanced composite "pre-preg" materials in the manufacture of a series of lower forward and upper vision window frames and associated window test frames for the new WAH-64 helicopter to be produced by GKN Westland Helicopters.

W & J Tod's Aerospace Division has recently moved their production from Yeovil to a new dedicated Class A/Class 1 quality assured facility at nearby Crewkerne, where tooling and production has already commenced on Westland EH101 Lower Vision window frame units following the successful conclusion of "bird strike" tests.
