Titeflex, part of fluid carrying specialist Bundy, has been named as one of the top ten suppliers to Aerospatiale Aeronautics, the French aerospace company responsible for assembling the mainframe for Airbus A320, A330 and A340.
Bundy's Tireflex has its headquarters in Springfield, USA, but with operations all over Europe it successfully produces Teflon hose for the aerospace, automotive and industrial markets in France from its factory in Ozoir, near Paris.
After analysis of all its suppliers and subcontractors Aerospatiale named Tireflex as part of its top ten on the basis of reaction times, production cycles, lead times and progress of the "GREENLOOP" process. Titeflex was one of the first suppliers to adopt"GREENLOOP", an electronic data input "just-in-time" system introduced by Aerospatiale three years ago.
