Airbus Industrie has broken ground on a new mock-up centre to accommodate the cabin sections of its newly launched aircraft types. The new mock-up centre will have the space to accommodate the full cabin length of three aircraft, including a full cross section of the A3XX, which will make use of the building's basement to simulate the aircraft's double-deck design. The building will cover 8,750 square metres of floor space and a separate workshop has also been commissioned.
