Spectrum Technologies plc("Spectrum") has won its first order for its new CAPRIS 60 model.

The CAPRIS 60 laser wire marker is an intermediate model which has been developed by Spectrum in response to strong market demand. Derived from both the CAPRIS 50 and CAPRIS 100, the new CAPRIS 60 has been developed for use by major aircraft modification centres and smaller airframe manufacturers such as business jets as a main manufacturing system and as a support system to major aircraft manufacturers.

The first order for CAPRIS 60 has been placed by Kakamigahara Aero Equipment Co. Ltd ("KAE") of Japan, a subsidiary of Kawasaki Heavy Industries. KAE manufacture wire harnesses for use in Kawasaki helicopters and other aerospace projects such as the OH-X indigenous helicopter, the BK117 helicopter and the F2 fighter aircraft.
