Meggitt Avionics selected for helicopter upgrade programmes

Meggitt Avionics has been selected by Rockwell Collins to supply standby Air Data and Inertial Sensing devices for the UH-1Y and AH-1Z helicopter programmes.

These programmes are upgrades of the H-1 helicopter in service with the US Marine Corps.

Meggitt Avionics were recently selected to supply secondary flight display systems for the Chinook upgrade for export customers. Being selected for the UH-1Y and AH-1Z programmes further consolidates Meggitt Avionics' position in the rotary wing market.
