Ferranti Technologies Limited (FTL) exhibited its portfolio of electronic,electrical and precision electro-mechanical equipment for the aerospace industry at the recent Paris Air Show.

Equipment on display included FTL's FTS-10 inertial grade accelerometer(Plate 2). Unique in Europe, the FTS-10 offers system integrators a competitive,non-US source of a critical component in aeronautical and terrestrial strap-down navigation systems as well as missile guidance systems.

FTL's power conversion products were also exhibited. These included a state-of-the-art Transformer Rectifier Unit, which provides DC power from the main generator AC input, developed to meet the demanding requirements of Eurofighter aircraft.
