The peening division of USF Surface Preparation Group subcontract operation,USF Impact Finishers, reports that it has opened a string of new branches in the USA and Europe. From new US locations in Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, New York State, North Carolina and Texas, plus additional European sites at Charleville Meziers in France and Henley-in-Arden in the UK, the company offers a fast-response service for the precision shot peening of aeroengine and aircraft structural components, for fatigue life enhancement.

State-of-the-art programmable shot peening systems have been installed at existing and new sites during the past few months. These are designed to meet the latest aerospace operating standards and specifications, including those of all major international aeroengine manufacturers and airlines, as well as the defence industry.
