Engine nacelles for the AS900

GKN Westland Aerospace announces that it has been awarded a contract by AlliedSignal to supply the engine nacelles for the AS9000 engine selected by British Aerospace Regional Aircraft to power its new RJX regional jet.

The RJX nacelle work is estimated to be worth in excess of $20 million per year to GKN Westland Aerospace, a division of GKN plc.

The company is also supplying AlliedSignal with nacelles for the TFE731 engine, which powers the Dassault Falcon 50 and Galaxy Aerospace Astra SPX business jets.
