System 3R have appointed Colin Cater (Plate 19), formerly the senior applications engineer of Charmilles Technologies, to head up their Automation and Systems Division. He has a strong engineering background, being a toolmaker for 13 years at Garringtons in the Midlands, combined with the nine years at Charmilles. This wealth of experience has ensured that he has the necessary expertise to take System 3R even further forward into this very current and dynamic market.
