UK Aerospace materials and maintenance sectors brochure

The SBAC has produced two new brochures for the UK's aerospace industry's materials and maintenance sectors. The brochures highlight each sector's strengths and capabilities and seek to raise awareness of UK aerospace companies.

Included with each brochure is a careers supplement, which has been sent to schools and colleges in an endeavour to attract young people to follow an exciting and worthwhile career in aerospace.

The UK aerospace industry is a dominant force in the global aerospace market with an annual turnover of £17 billion. The materials sector contributes a turnover of approximately £1 billion, employing 9,000 people, and the maintenance and support services sector has a turnover of £1.4 billion and employs around 20,000. Both sectors play a crucial part in the success of the industry.
