A five-day prototype service has been launched offering design engineers access to cost-effective small sheet metal parts for a vast array of applications including aerospace.

Weymouth-based Tecan components produces prototype parts for despatch within five working days from the acceptance of a design. The company informs us that it offers over 30 years' expertise in photochemical etching to produce the parts, alongside other techniques such as electroforming for higher accuracy and multi-level pieces.
