Senior Aerospace BWT is celebrating the successful delivery of its first ship set of production pieces in a landmark contract with Ukraine aircraft system manufacturers, Interami Interiors.

A UK-based designer and manufacturer of low-pressure air distribution and insulation systems, Senior Aerospace BWT claims to supply 80 per cent of the world's aircraft. However, this is the first time since the company began manufacturing for the aerospace industry 40 years ago that it has conducted business with the Ukraine.

Following initial discussions with the systems integrator at Farnborough Air Show in July last year, the contract was secured in January 2001 to design and supply the cabin ventilation system for the Antonov AN 74 TK300, a 50-seat regional jet.
