Cranfield Aerospace awarded U.S. Navy contract Free

Cranfield Aerospace reports that it has secured its first U.S. Department of Defense contract. Cae will provide Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River,MD, with a multi-axis Motion Cueing Seat System for the CH-47F Transportable Flight Proficiency Simulator being developed for the U.S. Army PM Cargo.

The contract with J. F. Taylor, Inc., (Lexington Park, MD) is to provide four seats (in two-seat sets) for transportable CH-47F Chinook trainers. The total procurement opportunity represents 18 simulators to support training requirements.
