Warren Tucker has joined Cobham plc. as group financial director. Giles Irwin, the former GFD, retired from the board at the end of July, but will remain as an employee of Cobham reporting to the chief executive.

Warren was the deputy group finance director of Cable and Wireless plc. until June 2002 and previously held senior finance positions at British Airways.
