The Lockheed Martin board of directors reports that it has elected Edward S. Taft as the corporate officer.

Edward was recently promoted as senior vice-president of Human Resources for the corporation. In his new position, Edward will oversee all human resources functions and initiatives. This includes the responsibility of recruiting and retention, professional leadership development, employee training, compensation,benefits, and diversity initiatives. Edward began his career with Lockheed Martin in 1979, and has held several leadership roles within human resources,including his previous position as vice-president of HR Services.
