Distance and distribution: a problem described

In this paper, I shall outline the distribution of Commercial Information services in the South West. I shall explain some of the problems these services have in providing a comprehensive range of information. One of the problems is distance within the South West region and in relation to London. These services all share the common difficulties of staffing and restricted budgets.
