ORGANIZATION AND PRACTICAL ASPECTS OF COMPUTER USE

I would like briefly to call to our minds one or two of the important practical features which concern us when we think about the use of computers in libraries. Perhaps, however, I should start with a disclaimer: I am not about to present you with a neatly packaged solution to your problems. I do not have one and I do not believe anyone else has at this moment. But I am certain that computer technology must have a fundamental role to play in any solution.
