The Conference on the British Library's Services, held on 16 November 1972, provided an opportunity for the Groups, Branches and Sections of the UK library organizations to review the availability and bibliographical control of various kinds of documentary material in this country, and a number of suggestions were made on ways in which the British Library might be expected to make good suspected deficiencies.
