When faced with a subject such as the scope of Agriculture in SRL one is apt to say that almost everything is held and then to be faced with an irate reader who can't find just the one thing he has come all the way to consult. This may be inevitable with a large collection, where gaps are not found by staff until a missing item that somehow ought not to have been overlooked, is specifically requested.
