A schedule for the cost‐evaluation of the brittle book programme at Cornell University

This paper examines in detail the various stages involved in the brittle book programme at Cornell University to produce a schedule for determining the costs of operating the programme. An estimate of present costs has been made by timing as many routines as possible and by interviewing library staff to determine costs such as for acquisition and cataloguing.
