Automating Vietnam’s academic libraries: the example of Vietnam National University Available to Purchase

This paper describes the current situation in Vietnam with regard to uneven progress in the important task of automating the academic library sector. Activities in the Library and Information Centre at Vietnam National University are offered as a case study of procedures that might be followed in other academic libraries in the country.
