In the era of globalization and intense competition where retaining employees is the major challenge posed before the organisations, having resilient workforce can be crucial to gain a competitive edge. In order to understand complicated HR difficulties in a variety of organisational settings, academics and practitioners have taken an interest in the idea of employee resilience.
The sample for the study is drawn from the private school teachers. Based on the data from 500 private school teachers, hierarchical regression and Hayes process macro were used to test the proposed hypothesis of the research model.
The findings demonstrate a favourable association between high-performance work systems (HPWS) and the intention of employees to stay, with employee resilience acting as a mediating factor in this relationship for private school instructors.
The study’s conclusions enrich the body of knowledge in human resource management by highlighting the importance of resilience in the case of teachers and the implementation of HPWS.
