Lean management practices in healthcare sector: a literature review

Dr Shilpa Shekhar Parkhi is Professor in Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management, Nasik, which is a constituent Institute of Symbiosis International (deemed University), Pune, India. She is Fellow member of Institute of Cost Accountants of India and Associate member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India with post-graduation in Commerce and UGC NET in Commerce. Her academic experience is over 14 years with various positions in teaching and she has contributed as Academic Council Member, Member Board of Examination of Symbiosis International University, Pune. She is passionate about research in the areas of integration of finance and operations areas, costing, accounting and taxation. She has published papers in these areas and has presented papers in several National and International conferences.
