Private funding for capital projects

Over the past few years, librarians have come to the realization that it is essential to have private funding to augment public resources for major capital projects. Use of private and public funds can have beneficial effects for the library. The funds can be used in a variety of ways to enhance the project and to help provide for future library programs and services.
