This paper describes a new type of prefabricated reinforced concrete structure designed for multistorey car parks. All components of the structure: columns, beams and floor units are prefabricated with dry demountable joints. Beams are hinged on columns. The structure is provided with wind bracings on the external frames in order to take the horizontal loads. As compared to other types of structures used in construction of parking places, this kind of structure, made of demountable elements, presents a series of advantages. A major advantage of demountable structures is that they are extremely suitable for, and allow fast and easy modifications of, either partial or complete buildings. They allow rapid enlargement or reduction of the building, various other transformations, and even the relocation of the building to another site. Another advantage is the significantly lower cost of such operations, as compared to the cost of similar remodelling done in classical buildings. These features ensure three important facilities: high mounting speed, reuse of components, lower cost. These facilities obviously generate important economical, functional and ecological advantages.
