SCC is a well developed technology and its share in constructing practice is increasing constantly. However, the properties of hardened concrete are less documented. Porosity, shrinkage and frost resistance of two series SCC were examined. The 28-days compressive strength of these concretes ranged from 78 to 87 MPa. The shrinkage of the samples at 20°C and 65 RH was quick in the first seven days and then much slower. The total shrinkage after 90 days ranged from about 0.4 mm/m to 0.55 mm/m and was relatively well correlated with the mass loss of samples. The highest mass loss after frost 56 cycles was presented about 110 g/m2. The frost cycles influenced the samples porosity which became much higher.
