The conservation of water resources
EXT to the air we breathe, water is the most important thing in our lives. Without it, both man and animals would die, and the earth would be a lifeless planet like the moon. Water provides the world with transportation, irrigation, electric power and recreational facilities. Water is one of the most valuable natural resources, and while it appears to most of us to be in abundance, water conservation is a major problem that surpasses the depletion of other natural resources.
Conservation means the protection and sensible use of water supplies. Too long have we, as inhabitants of this planet, neglected our most precious resource. W e have wasted it and polluted it; now, we must act to conserve it.
