Brigadier F. E. Fowle observed that Mr. Grigson and Dr. Lee had
made only cursory mention of some of the difficulties they had encountered
in the development of P.B.S. He paid tribute to the excellence of the
Author's work in overcoming those difficulties, but felt that the jute
manufacturers of Dundee might express different views. He himself had
been in charge of all the metal track surfacings made in the United Kingdom
during the war and the developlllent of theJ;J;l for the last 18 J;J;loni!hs.
