The paper analyses the influence of open-pit mines, crushing plants, tailings ponds, flotation plants and the spatial distribution of air pollution on the contamination of arable soil, flora, fauna and groundwater and surface water. Environmental protection measures taken to protect the environment in the Bor, Veliki Krivelj and Cerovo regions from the influence of the RBN-Bor industrial complex (Bor Copper and Non-metal Mines) are discussed.
