I realise that the authors' work has concentrated on impact pressures, but I wondered if they could give any guidance on the implications for uplift pressures?

The main intent of the instrumentation of the Alderney breakwater was to measure the wave impact on the structure; while the actual mode of failure is the seaward extraction of the facing blocks.
Will the pressure behind the facing blocks be measured and will the spatial distribution of the impact force also be covered?
