As this book has shown the programme is at the heart of a collaborative process to use information to monitor and control delivery of construction projects. It a subset of the total information that is processed and managed on projects. For both clients and contractors, the use of information produced in construction projects has broadened. Increasingly clients specify information requirements and central to a client's concerns are the consistency of the underlying information and also interoperability between differing processes.
