There is an error of presentation in the unnumbered formula at the bottom of page 99. The natural uranium requirements is, of course, proportional to the per GW (e) natural uranium inventory. As written, the term U would be read as the requirement for fuel replacement. Then in the next column, it is proposed that the total uranium requirement for fuel replacement should be factored up according to this allowance on the peak rate of consumption. A more accurate and more easily applied correction consists of spreading the uranium inventory over the thermal reactor station lifetime, and hence expressing it as an additional annual demand. This procedure increases the magnitude of the correction but in practical cases it is still small.
