Paper 22 gave only figures for external radiation dose uptake. Are there any figures on internal radiation dose uptake due to inhalation?

H. Bailly (Paper 22)

I did not give the figures on internal radiation because it is more difficult to establish statistics for this than for external radiation However, in recent years the number of people involved in accidental inhalations has been no more than two in any one year. Also, in these cases, the individual dose resulting from the inhalation has never exceeded 3 rem.

Paper 22 put a lot of emphasis on the enclosed posting system from one glove box to another. What are the maintenance aspects of the enclosed posting system? What comparison can be made between the French La CalhSne method of transfer with the new enclosed method from the point of view of surface contamination, airborne contamination, and man-rod dose uptake?
