Discussion on transients

MR M.H. BUTTERFIELD, UKAEA, Win frith: Will the pressure transients improve if the thermal energy content of the dome or structure is included? These transients are shown to be larger than expected on plant, in Paper 2. Our own experience is that this is a significant help.

MR BRUENS (Paper 2): I agree that the inclusion of heat storage effects are significant for these large transients and should be included in the model.

MR A. ROULET, Framatome, France: You have presented the results on a turbine trip with reactor scram. What are the results of your model on other transients such as a 10% load step or a full load rejection?
