D. TAYLOR, TNPG At the present time, two of the PFRfs three sec ondary circuits have been filled with sodium which is being circulated at about 80% full flow and at a temperature of 250 C. Intermittent cold trapping has taken place and a plugging temper ature of 120 C achieved. One of the steam gen erators has been subject to a full pressure leak test with helium in the tubes and sodium in the circuit at 250 C, and I am pleased to say that there are no signs of a leak. This unit will shortly be filled with water which will be circ ulated through the evaporator to achieve forma tion, under controlled conditions, of a magne tite layer on the inside of the tubes. The re maining steam generators are programmed to follow this sequence.
