PLENARY SESSION 4: FUTURE PLANS

P.W. MUMMERY, UKAEA On behalf of the staff at Dounreay and my coll eagues in the UK, may I offer our warmest cong ratulations to our colleagues in France for their magnificent achievement of nominal full power 250 MWe with PHENIX just announced by

M. Megy. This is a major step forward and is particularly appreciated by those of the dele gates who have experience of bringing prototype power plant into operation. May I ask you all to join me in asking M. M^gy to convey our con gratulations to all who have contributed to the PHENIX project.
