A reservoir simulation model has been constructed on a 386 PC computer to help plan and design a pump storage reservoir near Canterbury in East Kent. The model has been used to assess the yield and environmental impact of alternative scheme configurations. The structure of the model, the derivation of input sequences of daily flow and the results of the simulations are described.
